📍 Job Location: Benaras Road, Howrah, West Bengal

A reputed MSME engineering manufacturing factory in Howrah is looking for an experienced and technically sound Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join its team on a full-time basis.

The company manufactures precision engineering components using CNC, VMC and Grinding Machines and is seeking a responsible professional with strong dimensional inspection skills, knowledge of mechanical drawings and practical experience in quality control.

## 👨‍🔧 POSITION DETAILS

- 💼 Designation: QC Inspector – Quality Control
- 🎓 Qualification: Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 🧰 Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
- 💰 Monthly Salary: ₹18,000–₹20,000
- 📈 Salary Increment: After completing 12 months of service, as per company policy
- 🕘 Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 📅 Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- 🌴 Weekly Holiday: Sunday
- 🏢 Employment Type: Full-Time

## 🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should possess practical knowledge and experience in the following areas:

🔹 1. Dimensional Inspection & Quality Control
- Proficiency in handling precision measuring instruments.
- Checking dimensions and tolerances to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Inspecting engineering components according to drawings and specifications.
- Maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identifying dimensional deviations and reporting quality issues.

📐 2. Mechanical Drawing & CAD Software
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of preparing and modifying mechanical drawings using software such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Understanding of dimensions, tolerances and component specifications.

⚙️ 3. Workshop & Machine Knowledge
- Basic working knowledge of conventional workshop machines, including:
- Lathe Machine
- Shaper Machine
- Drilling Machine
- Milling Machine
- Grinding Machine
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes involving CNC and VMC machines.

## ⭐ ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL BE PREFERRED

Candidates with the following additional capabilities will have an advantage:

✅ Vendor Development & Inspection: Experience in vendor coordination, development and on-site vendor quality inspection.

✅ Inventory Management: Basic understanding of stock control, material tracking and inventory management.

✅ Resource Utilisation: Ability to utilise manpower, machinery and other resources effectively.

✅ Team Leadership: Ability to guide, motivate and coordinate team members to achieve quality and production objectives.
